Pass and Play was founded in 2015 to provide elite coaching in Surrey and Hampshire. All our coaches are either current or ex professional players.

Pass and Play provides an intensive, fun, structured
coaching programme.

Our Camps are aimed at everyone, from elite and county level athletes, to casual junior players who simply wish to have fun and learn new skills. Our Academies provide weekly training for people who want to improve their skills and train in an elite environment whatever your skill level.

Meet the founders

Pass and Play was founded by Rhianne McHale-Ogedengbe and Tayo Ogedengbe. Tayo and Rhianne met whilst both representing England at British Unis in their respective sports. They wanted to share their love and professional experiences in the sport with junior players. Pass and play started in 2015 with holiday camps and has grown year on year.

  • Founder / Netball

Rhianne started playing netball from the age of 11. She signed her first contract for a superleague team at age 18. Rhianne played 10 seasons in the superleague and then became Surrey Storms assistant coach after having her first child. Rhianne now works with Pass and Play full time and is excited to keep growing the club.

  • Founder / Basketball

Tayo actually didn’t start playing basketball until he was 15 years old. By the age of 19 he had signed a professional contract in the BBL. He has played professional basketball for 16 years, playing for teams in France, Spain. He returned home and has been the captain of Surrey Scorchers for the last 7 seasons.

What People Are Saying

“My daughters absolutely love the camps and the wonderful coaches! They have hugely benefited from training with the repertoire of top-level players at Pass and Play, which has helped to consolidate core skills and advance their techniques. It’s great to see my girls’ vast improvement within a short frame of time and their enjoyment of netball at the camps. I can’t stop telling my friends about the Pass and Play camps as we just love its vibe, energy, friendliness and the terrific culture of learning and playing there!!”

Wendy Lee, London

“Both my girls were booked in for Chelmer Valley High School in the February half term and enjoyed it so much that they have nagged me over and over to put them on the Easter camp, which I have now booked for them!!

They really enjoyed themselves so this is just a quick thank you.”

Nikki Darnell-Green, Essex

“My daughter has only been playing netball for 18 months and joined Pass and Play training programme about a year ago. During that time, I have seen real improvement in her skills, her ability, and her enjoyment of the sport, which is a direct reflection of how well Rhianne runs her regular training sessions. Pass and Play have a very structured approach which ensures everyone fully understands the basics of the game. They also work hard to nurture each child's individual ability so that everyone walks away feeling like they are continually developing in a positive way. Rhianne's experience as a player has clearly shaped her positive, can-do approach to coaching. She enjoys it and the kids do too!”
